nothing kicks off fall in boston better than the head of the charles regatta. ask me what i know about rowing and i'll tell you absolutely nothing except for the fact that i use a rowing machine at the gym for 10 minutes to warm up before a workout! anyway, the head of the charles is a rowing race held on the charles river. first organized in 1965, it is now the largest regatta race in the world! thousands from around the world come to race and spectate every october. lots of clam chowders in bread bowls and italian sausages are also consumed during the event. my bestie, rudy and i checked it out on sunday get in on the action on the final day!
happy fall, gang!
