mondays at empire

From the restaurateur behind Red Lantern in the Back Bay and Shrine in Foxwoods comes Empire, another upscale Asian Restaurant and Lounge located in the Seaport District. The space is old-world China with a twist of modern and sleek decor that greets you from the moment you walk up to the door.

Empire recently launched their new Kasai Monday Menu with mouthwatering bar bites. They also offer unlimited sushi on Mondays starting at 5pm. Of course, Gu and I were there to check it out.

We started with their Pot Stickers; Traditional Pork Dumpling, Caramelized Shallots, House Made Chili Garlic Sauce. I love pot stickers so I almost refused to share with Gu.

Gu went for their Unlimited Sushi.

For entree, I tried their Kimchi Steak Fried Rice with Fried Egg because.... I love steak and I love fried egg! This bowl is bigger than it looks and flavors were coming from left and right.

Sushi and rice are very filling. Despite all of that, we made sure we saved room for dessert. We ordered the "Campfire" Fried Ice Cream; Torched Marshmallows, Graham Cracker, Caramelized Milk, Chocolate Ice Cream. It was to die for!

Located in the Seaport District area, Empire also offers a lively night life on the weekends, with live dj and amazing cocktails to enjoy with friends.
